Machine Learning & Astrophysics Hack Days is a series of 4 seminars organised at PhD level to explore machine learning techniques that are often used in astrophysics during the winter semester 2020 at the ETH Zürich.


The seminars will be completely online, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They will recorded live from the ETH and streamed live. A recording of the lectures will be available later on this website for everyone to enjoy.

The seminars will be held with ZOOM. All registered should have received an email with the ZOOM link for the first seminar. If you have not received it or you registered after Thursday 12th Nov. 11:00 please get in touch with the organisers.

Prerequisites

at the page Prerequisites (also accessible from the menu) you will find resources that will make your access to the material easier. There you will find tutorials, videos and links to get more information on the technologies used: python and neural networks mainly.
